템테이션 - 유혹(Temptation)

한참동안 기염뮈소의 소설을 읽었다. 최근작 1~2개 정도를 제외하면 다 읽었을 것이라 보는데 그의 소설이 재미있어 읽었다. 하지만, 그의 패턴이 눈에 보이면서 재미가 사라지고 말았다. 여전히 평균정도는 보여주는 듯 하지만 예전과 같은 신선함과 즐거움을 선사하지 못하는 것 같다. 같은 패턴이 반복되니 처음에는 신선했던 것들이 점점 동의반복이라 그런 듯 하다.

 '빅피처' '모멘트'가 케네디의 작품중에 각자 다른 요소들로 참 재미있게 읽었던 책이였는데 '템테이션은 다른 요소로 참 재미있게 읽은 소설이다. 심지어, 하룻만에 다 읽었다. 읽다보니 그렇게 되었다. 마저 읽자며 읽다보니 애매해서 그냥 다음 날로 넘기지 않고 읽었던 것을 보면 그만큼 내가 재미있게 소설이라 자신있게 이야기할 수 있지만 통속적인 것을 싫어하는 사람들에게는 별로 일 것이다.
